A perfect treat for Chicago families this weekend

Another warm weekend in Chicago means more barbecues! And what delicious dessert to add? How about greek yogurt chocolate chip cookies? Serve these heavenly cookies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and everyone will thank you.

My daughter had fun measuring, mixing, and eating them, of course!

Greek Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ package chocolate chips
  • ½ stick of butter
  • ¼ vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 white sugar
  • 1/3 brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine all ingredients and stir until smooth.

Chill dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Using a tsp, place chilled dough on greased baking sheet.

Bake 9-11 minutes.
