About 3,000 Toddler Talk Toy Mobile Phones manufactured by Canadian company Discovery Toys have been recalled because the clear plastic antenna can break off, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: Three incidents in which the antenna broke off. A child was found mouthing the toy phoneÂ’s antennae but was not injured.
Details: The phone is red and blue plastic and battery-operated, with numbered “1, 2, 3, 4 and Play,” a screen with a boy’s face and the words “hello! hola! bonjour!” Only model number 1231 is involved in this recall. The model number is printed on the toy’s packaging.
What to do: contract Discovery Toys for instructions on how to return them for a replacement toy.

About 18,000 hooded sweatshirts and jackets manufactured by the Hot Kids brand have been recalled because the strings pose a strangulation hazard to kids and violate 1996 product safety guidelines for hanging drawstrings.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported
Details:The clothing was sold in 13 colors and various prints under the brand names MJC, Hot Kids or MJ Collection. Check the tag on the back.

About 7,000 Cool-it Soother by Vulli teething rings because holes in the ring can create breeding grounds for bacteria and mold.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported
Details: The Cool-it Soother teething ring is clear and is attached to a green plastic handle in the shape of the character “Gnon.” It was sold at children’s specialty stores nationwide and online at amazon.com from January 2008 through November 2010 for about $10.

Pajamagram is recalling about 800 Hoodie-Footie infant and toddler pajamas have been recalled because the metal snaps that attach the hood to pajamas can come off, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported
Details: The Hoodie-Footie pajamas have a front zipper and a detachable hood. The style “Winter Whimsy” is red fleece with multi-colored penguins, snowmen and snowflake designs.

About 1,500 rattles manufactured by Kid O have been recalled because the rattleÂ’s beads can come off when the rattle is twisted or pulled, posing a choking hazard to young children..
Incidents/Injuries: Three incidents in which the antenna broke off. A child was found mouthing the toy phoneÂ’s antennae but was not injured.
Details: TThis recall involves the Prisma and Duo style wooden baby rattles with multi-colored beads. The Prisma rattle is shaped as a bell with a loop handle and has style number 10331. The rattle measures about 3 ¾- inches long. “Prisma” and the style number can be found on the packaging. The Duo rattle is two interlocked rings with red and blue bead accents. “Duo” and style number 10333 is printed on the packaging.
What to do: Return the rattle to the store where you bought it for a full refund, or contact Kid O Products at (212) 366-5858 for instructions on how to mail the product to receive a full refund.
About 6,200 hooded sweatshirts manufactured by the Missouri-based Prairie Mountain Inc. are being recalled due to drawstrings that can strangle children.

Details: The recalled Youth Rip Stop hooded wind rain jackets are lightweight jackets in red, blue and green.
