Strawberry Fest – This weekend! – June 26 and 27

Partake in everything strawberry-strawberry pies, strawberry crepes, strawberry shortcake, chocolate-covered strawberries-at the 25th Annual Strawberry Festival, June 26-27, in historic Cedarburg, Wis., located 20 miles north of Milwaukee. Dance to live music at a variety of venues in the historic district and enter the strawberry bubblegum-blowing contest. Run off the calories at the5K Run/Walk/Roll at 9 a.m. Saturday, then gain them back at the outdoor Strawberry Pancake Breakfast at Cedar Creek Settlement, a former stone woolen mill built in 1864 onSunday morning.

On offering for the kids: daily pony rides and a petting zoo, Sumo Wrestlers, bouncers, food vendors, face painting, a paintable mural, Home Depot’s make & take projects, Mirror Image Dance Academy, NSAA Dance Department, Trinity Irish Dancers and the Main Street Song and Dance Troup-Gerry Agnew.. The CedarQuacker 500 launches duck races on the creek, Sat/Sun at 1:00 p.m. On Sunday, entertainers include magician Bruce Hetzler and Popcorn the Clown.
