Saving the day for all mom-kind

Frogs and snails and puppy dog tails, yes that’s what my son is made of! Although he’s only 2, he’s got quite a heart.

On a recent Sunday, he decided to be Super Jacob. He threw on a pair of his superman underwear and had my daughter tie a white pillowcase around his neck for his cape. He grabbed a wooden spoon from the kitchen and began running around, his cape flowing behind, to save my day.

Everyone knows I hate bugs so when Super Jacob spied an ant on the floor, he pushed me back saying, “mama pider!” (He calls all bugs spiders). Bravely, he moved toward it, very determined.

Squish.

My hero.
