A sweet visit to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

My husband and I travel to the Pleasant Prairie area often. We live in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and it only takes about 90 minutes to get there. Trust me, the drive is well worth it because there is an abundance of actives to do once you get there.

Jelly Belly Center

The Jelly Belly Center is my absolute favorite place to visit and the perfect spot to take the entire family. The center offers a wide variety of activities for people of all ages such as warehouse tours and train rides on the Jelly Belly train. One thing we always enjoy is the free samples!

Visit on July 6-9 for the Carnival celebration featuring rides, face painting, magicians and more.

The Mars Cheese Castle

Who doesnโ€™t love cheese? The Mars Cheese Castle is fun (and delicious) for all ages. The building is literally shaped in a castle and you have the choice of hundreds of different cheeses to select from. Their restaurant also offers a number of tasty meals.

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum is a great place for any dinosaur lover to visit.
