It’s not often that just the mention of a show’s name makes you want to go buy tickets. But “Pinkalicious” evokes such bubbly, smile-inducing feelings of the sheer joy of being a little girl.
The show, which returns to the Chicago stage after a successful winter run, also has the plot, acting and production chops to deliver on that nostalgic promise. Opening July 8 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, “Pinkalicious” is, according to review Alena Murguia, “a heaven for little pink-loving girls.”
It will also tickle parents who know all too well about picky kids: The play tells the story of a little girl obsessed with the color pink, specifically pink cupcakes.
