The Nutcracker ballet is a special holiday tradition loved by generations. It premiered December 17, 1892 in Moscow, but you don’t have to travel far to see the Sugar Plum Fairy twirl across the stage to the gorgeous score by Tchaikovsky.
The curtain will go up on several performances of the Nutcracker ballet around the Chicago suburbs in the coming weekends. Tickets are still available, so you and your favorite dancers can spend some magical time together at this fairy tale ballet.
