Monsters in Mittens: What you’d knit if you knew how

If the classic Little Red Riding Hood underwent a contemporary fairy tale fashion update, she’d be all over Monsters in Mittens for those long trips over the river and through the woods.

Established by two friends and new moms, the New Zealand-based company creates organic heirloom knits completely made by hand from high-quality, locally sourced merino wool. Basically, the kind of lovely stuff you’d knit yourself, if you knew how… or had the time.

Their full layette line is inspired by kitschy yet practical patterns from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and includes plenty of coziness you’ll wish came in adult sizes, too. A convenient currency converter is right on the site, too, which makes shopping much easier.
