Money Smart Week encourages good spending habits in Chicago kids

Money, like kids, doesn’t come with instructions. But knowing how to spend it, save it and borrow it wisely is a crucial life skill. So financial institutions, not-for-profits, schools, libraries and lots of others are joining together to help support financial education during Chicago’s 10th annual Money Smart Week, April 2-9.

Free educational classes, seminars and activities will take place around the area. For a complete calendar of events, go tomoneysmartweek.org/chicago.For printable money crafts, visiteconcouncil.org.
