Although St. Patrick’s Day has come to an end, that doesn’t mean you can’t keep celebrating the Irish. Head across the border to Towle Theater in Hammond, Ind., for String Fever with the Mayer School of Irish Dance this Sunday.
The Mayer School of Irish Dance performers will dance a jig while two players on the hammered dulcimer and a guitarist regale you with traditional Irish music.

Your family is always on the move. Learn the importance of movement in the arts this Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Family Dance Workshop hosted by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago invites children age 3-8 and their parents to jump, spin, slide and dance as they learn to express themselves through movement. Hubbard Street Dance Chicago teaching artists and members of Hubbard Street 2 will be on hand to help.
