Leaf Rubbings

This project is a perfect opportunity to point out the different shapes and textures of various leaves to your little naturalists.

Instructions:

  1. Place an assortment of leaves vein side up on a piece of plain,white paper. Cover with another piece of paper.
  2. Peel the wrapper off of a crayon and slowly rub the side of thecrayon back and forth over the leaves to reveal their shapes. (Usepaper clips to secure the edges if the paper slips around toomuch.)
