Leaf Placemats

Incorporate leaves into your family’s Thanksgiving celebration (or any other meal) by creating homemade placemats for your guests.

Instructions:

  1. Choose some beautiful, unblemished leaves and arrange them in apattern on a piece of wax paper that is about 8½ by 11 inches insize.
  2. Cover with another piece of wax paper that is the same size andiron the pieces together under a thin towel.
  3. Once you have a tight seal on the outer edges of the wax paper,cut strips of construction paper or seasonal wrapping paper todecorate the four edges of your placemats and secure withglue.
  4. Proudly display your table “linens” for the big ThanksgivingDay meal.

  • scissors
  • glue.
