There are so many cool services that let you turn your smartphone photos into prints or books, but they can
be a bit pricey and let’s face it, there’s no way they’d be
delivered on time for Mother’s Day. Instead, try a little DIY. We
found some super simple instructions for turning your Instagram photos intomagnets. She can decorate the fridge with wonderful memories,
and she’ll appreciate that you took the time to handmake
something.

Is mom an animal lover? Make her a reservation for one of Shedd Aquarium‘s animal encounters or unique experiences. The
Beluga Encounter and Trainer for a Day programs are a little
pricey, but spending some quality time with a penguin isn’t too
expensive. The Behind-the-Scenes Tour is also affordable and gives
me a peek into what animal life is like at Shedd. All experiences
include admission to the aquarium, so you can really make a day of
it.

Give mom a break from the kitchen with a gift card to one ofthese pre-madedinner services. She’ll appreciate a night off and all of these
options look pretty tasty. Some of these services will deliver food
right to your door and some will need to be picked up, but there
are plenty of options out there that will give her a delicious meal
with little to no work.
