Fans of Kohl Children’s Museum can enjoy the kid-friendly fun without an admission fee at the museum’s pop-up location at Lake County’s National Museum of the American Sailor.
Hours vary at the Lake County location that will be open through Nov. 23 free of charge.
The pop-up will test a pilot version of Tech Play Lab to introduce early coding concepts and computer sciences to youngsters. It will also use the space to focus on design and construction, with building towers, Airmazing with wind tubes and a Bernoulli blower that will teach air dynamics.
The hands-on features that fans love at Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview won’t be lost at the pop-up. The museum promises Learn at Home activities that will allow the teaching to continue long after the visit to the pop-up is over.
The museum previously held pop-up locations this year in Waukegan and Round Lake.
