1 1-pound coffee can withlid1 3-pound coffee can with lidIceSalt1 pint whipping cream1/2 cup sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 cup crushed strawberries

Put last four ingredientsinto small coffee can and mix. Place inside large can and pack thearea between cans with salt and ice.

Roll on floor back and forthuntil ice cream is firm.

After about 15 minutes youmay need to add more salt and ice and continue rolling. Mittens arehelpful because the can gets very cold.
