Field Museum has best restrooms in the U.S.

The Field Museum may exhibit old bones, but it’s facilities – especially its ground floor restrooms – are sleek and modern. Cintas Corp., the uniform supply company that also keeps restrooms well-stocked, has officially named the Field’s ground floor restrooms as the best in the country.

The judging was done online, so there’s no scientific assessment. But commenters listed the comodious space, the little stalls for kids, and the ceiling paintings of the sky. The museum also, in a bit of marketing genius, has a display of gift store items, so little kids waiting for their mother to pee can start their “I want this” lists.

This is also a marketing boon to Cintas, whose name is being splashed all over newspapers and websites in Chicago, and in the cities whose restrooms lagged just behind the Field.
