Cody Simpson takes on Chicago

Teen singing sensation Cody Simpson wouldn’t change a thing about his life right now. He’s living his dream, he tells Chicago Parent.

“It’s one big rollercoaster, it’s one big journey,” says the 15-year-old currently on tour with Big Time Rush. Tickets to Saturday’s concert at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park are still available.

While he stopped at Wheaton to promote Hallmark Text Bands and meet fans, he took time out to share a bit of his life with Chicago Parent teen interviewers, Emma DeCarlo and Arlee O’Shaughnessy.

Hallmark Text Bands allow kids to send text messages wristband to wristband, expressing themselves and spreading encouragement. Kids on hand this week at Kirlin’s Hallmark in Wheaton sported special Cody Simpson Text Bands that will be available to the public this fall.
