We’ve given Chicago Parent a little refresh

How we all get info on raising our kids has changed quite a bit over the years. Have a parenting question? Google has an immediate answer 24/7 without Mom’s judgment. Facebook groups abound where we can post photos of our kids’ strange rashes, questions about our spouse’s bad behaviors and vent about everything that irritates us at all hours of the day.

Many of you have told us in surveys and in person that you even use Chicago Parent differently than in the past. You want things to do in the city and suburbs. You want a local magazine that focuses on your life as a parent, but doesn’t forget that you are a person, too. You want to know about great schools and businesses that can help your life.

So, on the heels of being named the best regional parenting magazine of our size in the nation, we decided the time is right to give Chicago Parent a little refresh.

This is just the start of changes that will be made over the next year. This month’s issue debuts a cleaner, more modern feel, thanks to Art Director Claire Innes and her talented team. You’ll also find a stronger connection to ChicagoParent.com and our vibrant social networks.

Let me know what you think of our new look by emailing me at tamara@chicagoparent.com.

I can’t wait to hear from you.

Happy June.
