The NHL and PLAYMOBIL score with new toy line featuring the Blackhawks

The Stanley Cup is only three wins away from coming home to Chicago, but Lord Stanley could be in your living room along with your favorite players in October.

PLAYMOBIL and the National Hockey League have teamed up to create a new line of NHL toys – including our very own Blackhawks.

The first sets feature player and goalie figures for the Original Six franchises including Blackhawks’ rivals Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. These toy sets will allow kids to keep their love for hockey growing by playing as their favorite goalies and players and transforming their play rooms into the United Center.

Along with the player and goalie figures, the play sets will include a full ice rink, a Zamboni, NHL referees and, of course, the coveted Stanley Cup. Player figures come with name and number stickers to give kids a chance to mix and match their favorite players. Blackhawks names include many fan favorites from the dynamic duo of Kane and Toews to classic players like Bobby Hull and Jeremy Roenick. The player figures will have interactive features including skater shooting and goaltending action so you can work that slap shot into overdrive and make big saves like Crawford.

The playsets will hit stores just in time for the 2015-2016 season and will be available at Toys “R” Us, Walmart, Amazon and Target. Currently, the products in the NHL Line are set to be priced between $7.99 and $59.99.
