Meeting the Bloggers: Amy

Buongiorno!Bonjour!Hola! Bom dia! My name is Amy Bizzarri and I am a big (windy) city teacher (World Languages!), writer, and mom to two: a boy, age 10, and a girl, age 18 months. We are active and involved in our community, the (east) Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.

I love to travel but since I can’t always fly away on a whim, I’m happy exploring the city with my family. My son loves LEGOs, swimming at our local pool, and running around the neighborhood with his pals. My daughter adores butterflies, coloring, and playing with her train set. Together as a family, we love to spend time outdoors – especially hiking and swimming. We can’t seem to get enough of reading, cooking, and watching movies together. I’m looking forward to sharing our adventures here at ChicagoParent.com. You can also follow me on my personal blog at tiramisumom.com
