Birthday party ideas to steal

Two of my favorite people were born in January -my sons! Jack turned 2 and Charlie will be turning 4. In the interest of saving time (and money!) I decided to combine their parties this year into one family party this weekend! I thought I’d give you a sneak peek of the party via Pinterest.

You can see my board for the party in the picture above. The theme is Winter Wonderland. Here are a few of my favorite ideas:

Oreo Fluff Dip!

Snowflake stamping with pine needles

Snowman “Soup

Popsicle stick snowflakes

Polar Punch

My friend, Alicia, will be making a variation of this cake combined with some other ideas from Pinterest. I love to collect ideas on the same topic or theme and combine the best elements of each!

Festive drinks

For the wee ones, milk chugs

Snowman Oreo Cake Pops

My favorite idea will be a bit more difficult to execute – a milk jug igloo! I’ve been collecting milk gallons for a few weeks now from friends and family and while I can’t fit a whole first grade class inside, I’m sure to make it look pretty cute!

Next week, I’ll share how everything turned out. For now, you can view my whole Winter Wonderland board here or see more of what Chicago Parent has to offer on its boards.
