Benny the Bull at Chicago History Museum

Chicago History Museum’s regular Second Saturday series is getting a lift this month with a visit from Bennie the Bull. Bennie will appear at the 2 p.m. program, along with the Radio Disney Road Crew (which will also be there for the noon performance).

The two performances on Second Saturdays explore the Great Chicago Fire, Chicago’s landmarks and blues music. The day includes “Chicago dancing” – which Bennie will undoubtedly help with. Families will also run a relay race to illustrate the “bucket brigade” that put out (or tried to put out) the Great Chicago Fire. You and your kids can also write a blues song, identify Chicago landmarks in a picture matching game and participate in a team word scramble.
