Authors read aloud

Authors and illustrators of some of the best-known children’s books will offer mini-workshops, book readings and signings July 11-12 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Magic Tree bookstore, 141 N. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park.Author-illustrator Eleanor Davis will offer a Draw Your Own Monster workshop for kids age 6-10. The lineup of authors reading their stories includes Jon Scieszka, who wrote The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Fairy Tales. The events are free, but reservations are requested.
