3 free museums on Presidents Day

Your kids thought they’d get out of learning on Presidents Day. Ha!

The Museum Campus museums — Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium — are all making sure that this day off of school is one enriched with history, science and culture.

On Feb. 16, three of Chicago’s most popular museums will offer Illinois residents free general admission with proof of residency. Residents will also be able to buy discounted all access packages to each of the sites.

Adler Planetarium

Where: 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago

Hours: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets: All-Access Pass with discount: $17.95 adult, $16.95 child

Field Museum

Where: 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago

Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets: All-Access Pass with discount: $18 adult, $15 senior and student, $13 child

Shedd Aquarium

Where: 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago

Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Tickets: Shedd Pass with discount: $22.95 adult, $15.95 child
