Wellington the Rockhopper Penguin Explores Shedd Aquarium

He’s calm and inquisitive and despite being an old-timer at 32 – more than double the life expectancy for his species! – Wellington is spry and curious. That curiosity has helped the Rockhopper penguin give families a unique view behind Shedd Aquarium’s closed doors during the stay-at-home order.

Follow his adventures on Shedd’s social media and help all of the penguins by adopting one at Shedd for $50-$75, plus $8 shipping for the animal plush, photo of your new family member and a certificate of support.
