Just in time for back to school, families from the greater Chicago area can take advantage of this awesome deal perfect for storytime.
Vooks is a streaming service aimed to provide better screen time for kids ages 2-8 with their digital library of animated storybooks. Through Sept. 30, Chicagoland families can sign up for a free year of the video platform thanks to Craig Robinson, brother of former First Lady Michelle Obama.
As part of the Vooks team, Robinson wants to help spread the gift of literacy to Chicago kids since he grew up in a Chicago home filled with a love for reading. According to the Vooks website, Robinson “hopes to offer that same love, literacy, and education to the youth of Chicago, giving them every opportunity to succeed.”
