Berens Park
- Address: 493 N. Oaklawn Ave., Elmhurst
Berens Park offers two playgrounds for kids to explore, including one with a sand box and digger. The fun doesn’t stop there — check out The Hub with seasonal activities like batting cages, mini golf course and a sprayground.
Butterfield Park
- Address: 385 E. Van Buren St., Elmhurst
The playground in Butterfield Park opened in 2016 as the first fully-inclusive playground in Elmhurst. You’ll find plenty of things to do for kids of all abilities including an accessible zipline, wheelchair accessible sway boat and two accessible swings.
Centennial Park
- Address: 155 E. St Charles Road, Elmhurst
One of the newer Elmhurst public parks features a playground with a zipline, climbing structure, swings and slides. During the summer, they have a splash pad that turns on about two or three times during each hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Salt Creek Park
- Address: 574 W. 2nd St., Elmhurst
This small 10-acre park includes a great playground with more modern climbing structures. Kids ages 5-12 can climb through the obstacle course, while littles can enjoy a smaller slide.
Wilder Park
- Address: 175 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst
Wilder Park’s playground is perfect for families looking for nearby seating to watch their kids. You can also spend the entire day exploring kid-friendly attractions in the area such as Elmhurst Art Museum and Wilder Park Conservatory.
