New Space Podcast Launches for Kids

Got a space nut in the house? Then the new family-friendly podcast, REACH: A Space Podcast for Kids, produced in Chicago is a must listen.

The weekly podcast explores the galaxy, tackles kids’ questions and has fun at-home experiments and interviews with experts at such places as Adler Planetarium and Cosmosphere.

“We wanted to create a show for middle grade audiences full of the hope and wonder we experienced with the space program in our youth,” say creators and producers Sandy Marshall and Nate DuFort.

New episodes launch on Tuesdays. Some recent episodes have covered topics like NASA’s Mars 2020 Mission and exoplanets. The podcast also has bi-weekly mini-episodes dedicated to answering listeners’ questions including “Is Pluto a planet?” and “How hot is the Sun?”
