For families looking for a new holiday tradition this year, a light show on the North Shore is here to brighten up the season (and 2020).
Let It Shine debuts a new drive-thru holiday light show perfect for families looking for a safe activity during COVID-19. Located at Northbrook Court, guests can drive through light displays set to holiday music. The new seasonal attraction will run nightly from Nov. 15-Jan. 9 and there’s a “fast pass” option for vehicles that want to skip the line.
“I took my kids to a similar show while visiting family out-of-state and I thought to myself, why don’t we have this in Chicago?” says Let It Shine’s co-founder Glen Gaode in a press release.
To help give back during the holiday season, Let It Shine will donate a portion of its proceeds to NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center. Organizers are also hosting a First Responders Night on Nov. 14 for physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTS, firefighters, military members and law enforcement officers. First responders can attend free of charge with a valid ID from 6-9 p.m.
