What families can expect this year
Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up is back for 2025, transforming Goose Island into a seasonal playground filled with fall-themed activities. Located at 1265 West Le Moyne St., the pop-up is open now through Nov. 2, according to Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up.
Families can explore a corn maze, try carnival-style games and snap photos among pumpkin displays. Food vendors are on-site, and in the evenings some areas shift to a more adult crowd with bar service. The main grounds remain all-ages, so parents can bring kids during daytime or earlier hours.
Tickets are timed entry, with the last entry allowed 90 minutes before closing. Children age 4 and under receive free admission with a paying adult, and families can purchase add-ons like pumpkins to take home.
Because the event is fully outdoors, weather can make or break the experience. Restrooms are portable, and there is little indoor shelter. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Plan It:
- When: Open now through Nov. 2, 2025. Hours are 4-10 p.m. Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday, according to Jack’s Groups page.
- Where: 1265 W. Le Moyne St., Goose Island. CTA Blue Line (Division stop) is nearby, and buses run along Division and North Avenue. Limited free street parking is available; select nights include valet or VIP parking, according to Jack’s FAQ.
- Cost: General admission ranges from $25–$30 on weekdays and $30–$35 on weekends. A family of four with two adults and two paid children can expect to spend $100–$120, not including food, games or pumpkin add-ons. Kids 4 and under are free with a paying adult.
- Age fit: While all ages are welcome, the pop-up is best suited for elementary-age kids and older who can enjoy the games and maze.
Accessibility: Surfaces are dirt, grass and corn maze paths, which can be difficult for strollers and wheelchairs. Restrooms are portable units. No quiet rooms or sensory accommodations are listed.
