Enjoy a beach day at Navy Pier’s new free art installation

Already feeling those winter blues? Grab your shades and escape reality with this “sea” of balls.

“The Beach Chicago” opens at Navy Pier’s Aon Grand Ballroom on Jan. 19 with a free interactive art experience. More than a million white plastic balls will fill the ballroom—along with umbrellas, deck chairs and other outdoor decor items—to recreate the ultimate beach day.
