Looking for a great way to have fun with the family while being physically active? Well, it’s about time to you learned about Funtopia. The adventure park just opened its newest location in Naperville and we had a blast! Here are reasons I bet you and your family will have one, too.
Larger than the original. The Naperville location boasts the company’s largest location to date at 27,000 square feet, which means more fun things to do with your crew.
Interactive courses. Want to climb a beanstalk or climb atop buildings like Spider-Man? At Funtopia, they’ve stepped it up a notch so you’re doing much more than just climbing walls. The entire experience has more than 50 themed fun walls and areas, including rope ladders, a dinosaur wall and even jumping atop buildings like our favorite superheroes. Love a challenge? They have timed courses for pairs.
Ninja course. Channel your own ninja warrior and conquer the ninja course. Pro tip: It increases in difficulty as you go through. Test your balance, swing from ring to ring, traverse through the nets. Believe me, it’s much harder than it looks. My son zipped through the course, while I grudgingly finished.
Ropes course. Ready for another challenge? Reach new heights by conquering the ropes course. Just like the ninja warrior section, the ropes course gets increasingly harder as your progress.
Everyone can participate. So yes, parents, that means go ahead, strap on your gear and climb alongside the kids. It was fun to challenge them to see who could climb the fastest or who could get through the ninja course first.
Get your workout on. What a total body workout! You better believe that I was sore the next day.
