Best Indoor Play Places for Kids in Schaumburg

Rain or shine, kids can play the day away at these indoor spaces.

We all know that Chicagoland weather is unpredictable, but why should that stop your little one from getting their play on?

Whether it’s too hot to spend all day on the playground, your local park is covered in snow or you just want to let your kiddo blow off some steam while you relax indoors, indoor play places are exactly what your family needs for a day of uninterrupted fun.

Not all play places are created equal, though, and there are only so many times your child can bounce on the same inflatables before they get bored and are ready to leave. Luckily, the northwest suburb of Schaumburg has plenty of unique indoor playscapes for kids. From indoor water parks to spaces designed around your kiddo’s favorite characters, these indoor playgrounds will keep your little ones entertained all day.

Here’s where to get your play on in Schaumburg.

Kids Art & Café

Play, eat and get creative at Kids Art & Cafe. The space is home to an indoor playground with slides, a ball pit, a dollhouse and other interactive toys. After a day of play, kids can enjoy a frozen treat from the on-site ice cream shop (plus, coffee drinks are available for adults). Art classes, special events and birthday parties are also offered. Open play is offered seven days a week, no reservations required.
