Ball Factory Playground

  • Cost: $20 kids ages 1-12 weekdays, $25 kids ages 1-12 weekends/holidays, free for kids under 1

Located inside Fox River Commons shopping mall, kids of all ages can bounce around this indoor playground. You’ll find plenty of play areas for kids to explore, including some gated areas for your babies and toddlers. For parents who need a break, the cafe offers coffee, food and drinks.ย ย 

DuPage Children’s Museum

  • Cost: $19 kids and adults, free for kids under 1

Families can spend hours inside this beloved children’s museum. The exhibits focus on subjects like science, math, art and more. There are even Young Explorers spaces for kids under 2. The museum also holds exciting family events like a Pajama Party, Bubble Bash for New Year’s Eve and special needs playtimes.ย

  • Cost: $25 all-day pass, $15 parents, $10 toddler area

Get ready for kids to go wild at this indoor paradise! From rock climbing walls to a ninja course and a giant slide, even parents would want to join. What we love is that there are areas for kids of different skill levels. If your families are night owls, take advantage of the Friday and Saturday special where kids can play from 6-9 p.m. for $20.

  • Cost: $16 kids, free for kids 6 months and under

This indoor play space was so popular in Mount Prospect that the owners decided to open a second location in Naperville. And how lucky western suburban families are to experience this space designed specifically for younger kids (6 months-age 6) with a slide, ball pit, train table and toys. Note: Be aware that kids over 48 inches tall or older than 6 will not be allowed on the playground.

The Fun Playce

  • Cost:ย $18

The Fun Playce features a large indoor climbing structure with slides, tunnels, and ramps. There’s a fenced-in toddler area equipped with foam mats, puzzles and push toys. Additional attractions include a pretend play corner with a kitchen and grocery store, a train and vehicle table, and a sensory and nursing room for breaks.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure

  • Cost: $22.99-$38.45 kids (tickets vary by number of attractions), $3.49 Urban Air socks (personal socks not allowed), $11.99 kids ages 5 and underย 

While the trampoline park is the highlight at Urban Air, you can take indoor fun to the next level with climbing walls, a ropes course, warrior course, bumper cars, go-karts and more. On Fridays 10 a.m.-noon, toddlers can enjoy the place to themselves with Jumperoo Toddler Play.
