If you can’t get enough of summer, there are plenty of indoor pools in Chicago that’ll make it feel like summer never ended (with the added bonus of no weather closures). The city and suburbs are chock full of indoor pools your kiddos will love.
So save yourself a trip to the Dells and splash up some fun at our favorite indoor swimming pools.
Please note: Many of these pools give special discounts to residents, so bring your ID!
Chicago Park District
The Chicago Park District offers 28 indoor swimming pools, with locations all over the city. Many feature lap lanes, diving boards and spacious areas to swim out some energy or host a wet playdate. We’re big fans of Welles Pool, Eckhart Park Pool and Gill Pool.
