Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Slated for Chicago Run in February

Turning Germania Place on the Gold Coast into a Van Gogh painting is no easy task.

Thanks to the lighted projections of the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Chicago, families will not only see Van Gogh around them, but be able to sit among the sunflowers and awe at the Starry Night.

Opening in February 2021, Immersive Van Gogh will hold its U.S. premiere in Chicago after successful installations in Toronto and Paris.

Landscapes, portraits and still life works seen in the projection experience include: The Potato Eaters, Starry Night, Sunflowers, The Bedroom and more.

The exhibit opened in Toronto during the COVID-19 pandemic and welcomed more than 170,000 guests due to heightened protocols. Reduced capacities, social distancing circles in the gallery space and regular cleaning have helped staff and guests remain healthy through the exhibit run.

The experience is slated to open Feb. 11 and be available through May 3. Timed tickets are recommended, but unsold tickets will be available at the door each day.
