Rosemont even brings a variety of amenities together in the vibrant new 200,000-square-foot Parkway Bank Park entertainment district.

We have gathered what you need to know to plan your own memorable trip to Rosemont this holiday season. Read on.

For the lover of active fun

Show off your toe loop and triple lutz at Parkway Bank Park, where ice skating at the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink has just reopened for the season. Experience the joy of gliding along the ice in a safe and fun environment made even safer and more convenient with 45-minute skating reservations. Contactless reservations for skating and ice skate rentals must be made online in advance at parkwaybankpark.com. Walk-up skating will not be allowed this year, so avoid disappointment and be sure you reserve your skating reservation online.

You’ll be reassured that your whole family can skate safely because at the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink, skaters have temperature checks on arrival and there is enhanced cleaning of all the facility’s high-touch surfaces. All staff members wear face masks, and skaters are encouraged to as well.

Admission to the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink is free, and a credit card is required to hold reservations. Skate rental is available for $8 and must be reserved online, or you can bring your own skates. Open every day through Jan. 5, the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink will also be open on Sundays through the end of February. Check for weather-related updates on the Parkway Bank Park hotline, 847-349-5008. No matter your skill level, your whole family is welcome at the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink. Salchow jumps are always optional.

For the shopper

Rosemont is home to the award-winning Fashion Outlets of Chicago, where more than 130 designer stores — many found nowhere else in the Midwest — are gathered together in one gorgeous location. Shop the finest designer brands at Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store, Nordstrom Rack and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, as well as Forever 21, Kate Spade New York, Nike, Swarovski, Michael Kors, Prada, Banana Republic, J.Crew, Gucci and so much more. There’s even a wing where all of your favorite child-focused retailers — such as the Disney Outlet, Carter’s, The Children’s Place, Abercrombie Kids, Crocs and American Eagle — are located. Talk about convenience!

Proper social distancing protocols and intensified cleaning makes the center an enjoyable and comfortable place to shop. The center features an enhanced, high-quality HVAC system with hospital-grade MERV-13 filtration and employs electrostatic sprayers for a super-clean environment. Throughout the holidays, Fashion Outlets brand ambassadors will be awarding shoppers who are following health and wellness guidelines with rewards from the shopping center’s retailers.
