Why Chicago families need a summer go-bag

As parents, we get approximately eighteen summers with our kids. Time flies and the pressure to make memories can be overwhelming. In addition, summer activities can make family logistics a challenge.

The good news? There is no need to stress! Take back your family schedule and dial back the activities. Leave room for spontaneity and memories will create themselves.

But how to do this? Let us introduce you to your secret weapon for this summer: the go-bag.

Here’s why you need a summer go-bag:

It makes spontaneous adventures achievable! Let’s face it, as parents, a last-minute trip to the beach can be stressful. Pack your stress away and embrace the go-bag. You’ll have no excuses since you’ll be ready to go at any time.It allows you to capitalize on the white space in your schedule. Have an hour before dinner after running errands? Hit the splash pad, because you can! It reduces stress and allows you to be the spontaneous, cool parent you’ve always wanted to be.

What to pack in your summer go-bag:
