Chicagolands’s Top Trunk or Treat Events for a Spooky Good Time

These 2024 trunk-or-treating events offer kids a unique and fun trick-or-treating experience.

While it’s tradition to collect candy door-to-door for Halloween, consider an alternative form of trick-or-treating. Trunk-or-treat events allow costumed children to collect candy through a parking lot as they stop at cars decorated for Halloween.

These events are hosted by park districts, local businesses, community centers and faith organizations. As a plus, most of them are free!
