Forget Taco Tuesday, Toddler Tuesdays is the new craze at Legoland Discovery Center in Schaumburg. If you have pint-size brick-lovin’ kiddos (5 and under), Legoland is the place to be on Tuesday mornings when the second floor of Legoland opens exclusively for them. Kids can play and enjoy a few special activities, and you can still grab some tacos afterwards.

Here are reasons why it will be a hit with your youngest builders (and you!):
Extended hours
They say the early bird gets the worm! Doors open a couple of hours earlier than normal, which means more time to pretend to be a pirate in the cool pirate play structure, more time to build a vehicle and race it down the ramp, more time to splash away in the water area and of course, more time to build, build, build!
Fun, planned activities
Each Tuesday is a different theme so every week will be a new experience. Check the calendar for a list of special days such as gymnastics and yoga classes designed especially for toddlers (11/8), free pictures with Santa (12/13), an interactive magic show performance (1/24) or a visit from 10 exotic animals including a tortoise, a hedgehog and an albino Burmese python! (1/31).
Many of the programs are co-hosted by local museums and play places such as the Museum of Science and Industry, Kohl Children’s Musuem and Tula Yoga Studio.
