Swimsuits for every beautiful mom bod

The one thing I dread about warmer weather is finding a new swimsuit. Through pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding, my body has changed a lot from year to year, so I try to grab a fresh suit each summer. That sounds easy in theory, but I usually end up with some sad one-piece that looks like its made for someone twice my age because I’m so desperate to keep my chest and stomach covered up. I figured there had to be a solution to my swimwear woes, so I went in search of cute suits that work well on every shape and size. Here are a few of my faves:

Amazon’s Angerella High Waisted Flounce Top Bikini

$21.99-$29.99 (depending on size and print)

Available in sizes 4-18

If you’re at all self conscious about your mid section, then high waisted bottoms are your best friend. I love that you can choose from thirteen different retro inspired prints and colors with this ultra flattering suit, plus a couple of the ruffle top options include an underwire for those that require extra chest support.

Top review from Amazon:

‘I was fully prepared to send this bikini back and didn’t have high hopes not being able to try it on but it fits PERFECT! I just had our second son 8 weeks ago, 9.5lbs, and my poor stomach is not what it used to be. I was dreading swimsuit season and hate one pieces, I don’t want to feel uncomfortable while out having fun with my children, this bikini makes me feel so much better and well covered!”

Target’s Beach Betty by Miracle Brand’s Slimming Control Striped Cut Out One Piece

$59.99

Available in sizes S-XL

God bless Target for carrying a line of “slimming” swimwear. Normally, I try to shy away from one-pieces because I feel like they’re unflattering to my pear-shaped body, but this suit’s cut out gives a peek of midsection, making it feel more like a high waisted bikini. I also love that the suit is black on the bottom and printed on top, and the chest area seems to be well covered.

Top review from Target:

“I love this swimsuit! It is flattering and comfortable. As a mom, I think it will work well for running around chasing kids too. The price is a bit higher than other Target suits, but totally worth it! It’s also cheaper then a lot of the high end suits I’ve tried, yet this was the winner. “

Swimsuits for All’s Black Macrame Suit

$50.40

Available in sizes 8-24

The macrame detailing at the top of this one-piece is fun and flirty without being too revealing, and the built-in bra keeps everything in place. The suit also features something called Power Mesh tummy-control lining, which sounds like a gift from the heavens. I also love that the site is super inclusive and offers plus sizes.

Top review from Swimsuits for All:

“I love this bathing suit. It’s sexy in all the right spots and supportive in all the needed areas. Definitely has a slimming effect.”

Albion Fit’s Bombshell Lulu One Piece

$128

Available in sizes XXS-XL

This suit is definitely an investment, but I could see myself wearing it on beach vacations for years to come. The floral and stripe print is cute without being cheesy, and the zipper detailing allows you to reveal as much cleavage as you’re comfortable with. Plus, the wide straps and built in bra allow for maximum support whether you’re swimming in the pool or lounging in the sun.

Top review from Albion Fit:

“I loved this suit! I also love how it has a zipper! It not only is super flattering but perfect for nursing! I love how the swimsuit doesn’t rise high and the back is also so cute!”
