Wood Dale’s Prairie Fest at Community Park

Celebrate summer with a carnival, live music, children’s entertainment, food, drinks and fireworks on Saturday.

Frontier Days at Recreation Park

July 2-6, 2025

  • Address: 500 E. Miner St., Arlington Heights
  • Cost: Free

Enjoy free entertainment, a carnival, beer tent, food and more at this annual. July 2 is 7th Heaven, Dan Peters Band Funky and Exit 147; July 3 is Dishwalla, Jak Tripper and One Of The Boyz; July 4 is BoDeans, Class of ’68 and LP Vinyl; July 5 is Bruce in the USA, Horizon, Eric Case Band and ARRA; July 6 is American English, Triadd Trio and Kickin’ It With Carol.

Roselle Independence Day Celebration

July 3, 2025

  • Address: 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Roselle
  • Cost: Free

Check out Roselle’s traditional free fireworks show at Lake Park High School West Campus. The annual fireworks display also includes live music and food trucks.

Elk Grove Rotary Fest

July 16-20, 2025

  • Address: Rotary Green, 164 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village
  • Cost: Free admission; $30-plus/wristband

This event features rides, games, live music, food vendors, a beer court, a drone light show and more.

Taste of Roselle

  • Address: Main Street, between Prospect and Howard, Roselle
  • Cost: Free
