The best spots for taking photos in Chicago

Whether you are from the north, south, east or west – everyone agrees that our city is beautiful. Here are some of my favorite spots.

The iconic skyline! This view can be found along the lakefront by Alder Planetarium. It is a classic and popular spot for engagement and wedding photos. When there isn’t an event going on at nearby Northerly Island or at the museums, it is quiet along the path and can be very relaxing.

Diversey Harbor, located north of Lincoln Park Zoo, is a very tranquil setting off the grid! This location was just recently brought to my attention and I sure am glad it was. While this area is notorious for scarce parking, there is actually a metered parking lot!

North Ave beach offers unbeatable views of the skyline from a premier location. Hosting the annual air and water show, it is undoubtedly Chicago’s most well-known beach.

Parking garages. No seriously, I will let you in on a little secret: Take a little stroll up to the top of a parking structure downtown and you are guaranteed to find some unique and magnificent views of Chicago’s heart!

These are just a few of my personal selections; I would love to hear yours!
