I’ve been spending way too much time on Pinterest and it hasn’t been good for my productivity. The minute I decide to sit at my computer and work, I somehow find myself on the site.
I was introduced to Pinterest a few years ago and it’s held me captive ever since. Mind you, I’m not exactly trying to break free. The ideas on that website are ridiculously awesome and it makes me wonder what kind of creative geniuses come up with some of the stuff found on there.
I mean, really? I consider myself to be creative, but goodness, the people on Pinterest are ingenious, and because of the endless amount of inspiration on the site, I’ve been drawing lots of stylish kid friendly ideas in the areas of food and room décor for my little one.
Toddler Food Ideas
Lunch and dinner aren’t the most pleasant meals to serve at our house. My daughter is probably one of the pickiest eaters I’ve ever encountered. Unfortunately for her, cookies and ice cream are not an option for lunch or dinner so I’ve been looking for ways to make mealtime a little more enjoyable. I was able to find what I’ve dubbed “food art” to entice my little one to eat. The experience has been successful to date. Toddler Room Décor
My husband and I have come to grips with the fact that our daughter will not sleep in her crib very much longer and we’ve been planning on converting her nursery to a “big girl’s room.” We’re looking to create a space where she will be able to play and of course sleep. Not a big fan of pink, I’m looking to paint her bedroom a light grey or a bright white. Pinterest was once again a great source of inspiration and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for.
