If you haven’t heard, a Pac-Man inspired restaurant, lounge, bowling, and games from Namco is coming to Woodfield Mall! Youngins can nosh on food from the kids menu and will have a blast playing Pac-Man on an original arcade machine. Parents will appreciate the subtle retro features and reminisce about the good old days. Either way it’s a win-win for both sides!

Adventure Playland

Mount Prospect

Opens: Feb. 14

 

A new play place where kids can run and parents can grab some food? Count me in. Here’s one difference between this play place and others – they serve pierogi!

The Arboretum in South Barrington

Opens: Spring 2015

 

Those with a sweet tooth will want to make their way to South Barrington’s The Arboretum come early spring. Founded by Jeff Martin, who appeared on the Food Network show “Cupcake Wars,” this cupcakery will feature 12 gourmet cupcakes flavors such as Pink Chocolate, Caramel Crunch, and Cookies and Cream – all made from scratch every morning. Pair it with some of their homemade ice cream and your taste buds will thank you.
