Malibu Barbie Cafe Makes a Stop in the West Loop

Groovy! The Barbie-pink pop-up restaurant features casual fare and beachy photo ops.

Surf’s up! A groovy Barbie cafe inspired by the beachy energy of 1970s Malibu is coming to Chicago. Malibu Barbie Cafe will open on June 7 in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.

The family friendly restaurant is serving up casual American fare in a setting that is decked out in Barbie’s iconic style — including an oversized Barbie doll box, ‘70s Malibu Beach photo ops and, of course, exclusive Barbie merchandise. The kid-friendly menu will include all-day brunch, desserts and drinks created by former Master Chef contestant Chef Becky Brown

Want to dine like a Barbie doll while surrounded by bright summer scenery and feel-good pop tunes? Paid reservation slots are currently available for purchase and include an entree and a side item for each guest. Additional items are available a la carte.
