LEGOLAND packs a big punch for Chicago families

Young Jedi and LEGO fans will be excited to learn that the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Schaumburg has debuted a new Star Wars exhibit. If you have visited in the past, you’ll remember that the exhibit had focused on scenes from “Star Wars: Episode I – Phantom Menace.” This time around we saw scenes from “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.”

Test skills in the interactive model display to destroy the Imperial base or bring down the attacking X-Wings.

Although the new Star Wars exhibit was no doubt impressive, my two boys, too young to know the difference between a Jedi and Darth Vader, were just as excited to check out some of the new renovations at the Center including:

A newly renovated track where kids can design, build and race their own LEGO car creations.

The kids really enjoyed the revamped LEGO Factory tour. Plus, who can resist coming out with their very own LEGOLAND block?

My two-year-old loved the new expanded Duplo® play area.

May the force be with you!
