Kid-Friendly Chicago Hotels to Book for Your Next Staycation

These local hotels offer fun packages and amenities just for kids.

Let’s face it: Chicagoans are spoiled. We have the best food, world-class attractions and beautiful landmarks. Unfortunately, life, the weather and traffic on the Kennedy often get in the way of appreciating the city for all that it has to offer.

Make it a priority to carve out time for a staycation right in the heart of the city. Worried the kiddos will get bored? Not with these hotels. They’re offering special kid-friendly packages to help you experience the Windy City, family-style.

Loews Chicago Hotel

Perfect for staycationers, the Lowes Chicago Hotel offers a “Chicago Discovery Family Package,” designed to keep kids entertained and parents engaged while navigating the windy city’s top tourist destinations.

Upon arrival, kids will receive an interactive scavenger hunt that takes them around Downtown Chicago. Once back in the hotel, they can have an indoor family campout with an in-room tent and family-friendly snacks (microwave included).

Swissotel Chicago

Parents, rejoice! Families with little ones can opt for a separate, adjoining room for their kids which provides them with all of the toys and entertainment they could ever want (and a nice “time out” for mom and dad). The hotel staff will set up the kid’s room with options based on your child’s age, which may include board games, stuffed animals, books, video games and coloring books.
