Best Hanukkah Events for Kids in Chicagoland

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with these family-friendly, local events.

Hanukkah begins on sundown of Nov. 28 and ends on the evening of Dec. 6. And although some places have opened up to the public, others are staying virtual to be on the safe side.

The virtual events and take-home kits allow you to relish in the best part of the holidays; connection, family, and food, right from the comfort of your own home

Moreover, there are learning opportunities that you might’ve not normally considered such as talks about the history of Hanukkah, which is great for teens!

Times are a little strange to say the least, but in the midst of everything it’s important to try new things and not lose touch with yourself and those around you.

Here are some of our picks for Hanukkah events in Chicago and the suburbs for a way to celebrate. Find more events in our calendar.
