Celebrate Groundhog Day in Woodstock

Groundhog Day is just around the corner, and we’re eagerly awaiting the prognostication of Punxsutawney Phil on whether we’ll have six more weeks of winter (sees his shadow) or have an earlier spring (doesn’t see his shadow). Feel like celebrating and a trip to Pennsylvania is out of the question? Head to Woodstock in McHenry County where the town goes all out with a festival, “Groundhog Days,” remembering Woodstock as the location for the filming of the movie “Groundhog Day” with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.
